Varsis Studio

The look and feel of LuxePacker can be attributed to Varsis Studio and specifically, the template Creamy Wide. I evaluated a ridiculous number of Rapid Weaver templates, but I really enjoy the simplicity and flexibility of Creamy Wide. As a bonus, Chris Pavlicek, the design architect behind Varsis Studio, has been most responsive and patient answering questions that reveal my amateur status.

Made with RapidWeaver

I've now been blogging for three whole days and it has been surprisingly easy to get started. The set-up required only one weekend, which is not bad for a novice. As I travel along the learning curve of creating, tweaking and maintaining my own blog, I'll share what I've gathered as well as give credit where credit is due. And today, all the credit goes to
RapidWeaver. I'm a huge fan of Apple (both its stock and its products) and RapidWeaver is a first rate example of what the Mac platform enables. Without RapidWeaver, a weekend project could have easily been a month long project. RapidWeaver provided me with a smorgasbord of templates, page types and third-party plug-ins, enabling me to launch immediately into the realm of blogging. But RapidWeaver also gives me the opportunity to learn HTML and CSS at my own pace. If you have access to a Mac operating system and you are considering your own blog, I highly recommend RapidWeaver. Luxe interface with Packer ease, it's good stuff.
